The very first Primetime for the Football platform provides us with some mouthwatering options as two promoted teams are matched up against two top four teams from last season. Football's Primetime adds even more spice as you're able to select any position for any on field spot, with only the bench and emergencies having to adhere to their actual positions. It poses the questions, so you back in the clean sheets and go heavy on defenders? Will the promoted teams be obliterated and we stack attackers or is it the fine balance of both? Both games being equally as likely to be one sided means we probably aren't trying to stack just one team, but a mix of Arsenal and United.
The strategy I recommend is the overly attacking one. While both Arsenal and Man Utd do seem likely to maintain their clean sheets, they'll probably do so with limited saves from both Raya and Lammens. Meanwhile the barrage of goals to come for both teams makes it appear that even attackers off the bench could outscore the goalkeepers and defensive players. The bench does force us to pick at least one goalkeeper and in this case Lammens seems the more likely to make more saves.
There are a number of key selection dilemmas, of which we only have access to the Arsenal fixture leading into lockout. Kai Havertz appears to have held off Viktor Gyokeres for the starting striker spot, which is by far the easiest of these dilemmas. Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice both could potentially be off the bench, giving starts to Noni Madueke and Bruno Guimaraes (who does have a slight injury worry). Elsewhere, Patrick Dorgu seems to have won a starting spot, which means it comes down to a battle between Mbeumo and Cunha for the final attacking spot in the United lineup.
